About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Seattle, Washington, 98166!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Description: The unit requires RNs to float as needed. Travelers must be flexible and may be required to float to various telemetry units. Experience with dialysis patients and cardiac skills is essential. RNs on this unit may titrate a few low-dose drips, such as low-dose dopamine. There are dedicated monitor techs who oversee EKG strips for the unit. Charge nurses and house supervisors are on duty. The unit has nurse aides to assist with patient care, and staffing ratios are 10-12 patients per aide. RNs are expected to provide care to patients with heart dysrhythmias, GI issues, and general medical conditions. Familiarity with EPIC charting system is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in PCU/ICU settings. Holiday shifts may be required, and weekend shifts are scheduled every other week. All staff are required to float to telemetry units as part of the job responsibilities.
