Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Transplant CST Weekend Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required, transplant experience mandatory License: Must be in hand prior to start date. Certifications: BCLS, NBSTSAS Must-Have: Candidate must scrub liver recipient transplants independently.Experience with large open belly cases is required.Proficiency in aseptic technique is essential.Skills in general, urology, thoracic, gynecology, plastics, Whipple, liver resection, and liver transplant are mandatory. Description:This position requires a surgical tech to support liver transplant procedures.Candidates must confirm comfort with weekend shifts.Expectation includes 40-60 hours of call in a 6-week schedule.Daily average surgical case volume is approximately 35.The facility includes 22 operating rooms equipped with specialized tools such as the Da Vinci XI.Experience in complex cancer-related care and high acuity patients is preferred.Previous experience with educational institutions and teaching hospitals is advantageous.Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates is required.Candidates need to adhere to strict infection control protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
