Collections Specialist

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Collections Specialist opportunities in Greenville, SC. Responsibilities for a Collections Specialist include but are not limited to: Manage a portfolio of accounts, analyze receivables, and prioritize collections activities to meet performance goals Perform account analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and root causes, and implement solutions to improve outcomes Execute customer outreach, resolve disputes, and maintain accounts including short-pays, chargebacks, and credit memos Perform core AR functions such as reconciliations, credit holds/releases, statements, and bad debt recommendations Candidates for Collections Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered: Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience, including invoicing, aging, and cash application At least 1 year of credit and collections experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Experience with SAP Accounts Receivable and Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas; pivot tables a plus) What's in this Collections Specialist position for you?
