Job Title: Production Associate - Swing Shift Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate on the swing shift, where you'll be responsible for building full products from pre-fabricated materials. This role involves working in a calm, quiet, and spacious environment, emphasizing quality and precision in electronic assembly.
Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of product shells and boxes.
• Engage in soldering and wire bonding tasks.
• Package finished products with care.
• Use small hand tools and power tools efficiently.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Adhere to production safety standards diligently.
• Read and follow iPad work instructions accurately.

Essential Skills

• Previous production experience is required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Strong sense of urgency in work tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Ability to read work instructions in English.
• Capability to stand throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in small parts assembly is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic assembly and soldering.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with quality inspection processes.
• Knowledge of SMT machine operation is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, line-based production facility where collaboration and precision are key. The swing shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm to 11 pm, with potential overtime extending to 1:30 am. Comfortable standing or sitting throughout the shift, with the average workweek totaling around 50 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
