This person will supports ACH production operations by monitoring file activity, ensuring compliance with ACH processing rules, and resolving exceptions as they arise. This role serves as a key backup to the ACH desk team, stepping in to conduct research, troubleshoot issues, and assist customers with file processing when capacity is limited.An ideal candidate will be adaptable professionals who thrive in a fast-paced operational environment, enjoy problem-solving, demonstrate strong learning agility, work effectively with others, and are willing to develop expertise in ACH operations.Start times range from 3:00pm - 5:00pm MST or CSTResponsibilities include:Analyzing transaction data, investigating discrepancies, coordinating with internal partners, and supporting high-value client activity through direct outreach and issue resolution.The position requires managing multiple operational tasks simultaneously, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely processing and resolution of ACH-related items in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.Participates in the modification of existing applications or development of new applications.Acts as a liaison and technical resource between management, staff and information systems to define and communicate standards of operational policy, plans, customer service or financial/performance reporting.Ensures all documentation and requests comply with established policies and procedures.Maintains applicable systems to monitor and track projects, plans and/or data; provides reports to management as needed.Writes test plans and performs tests of new systems and modifications to existing systems.Develops communication tools to ensure a high level of awareness of policies, plans, procedures or study/project results.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experienceTypically five or more years of related experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceThorough knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for assigned business unit5+ Years of related experience within ACHAbility to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leadersStrong understanding of project management and testing methodology and proceduresAbility to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test resultsStrong analytical and forecasting skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneouslyAbility to work as part of a project teamEffective verbal and written presentation and communication skillsProficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applicationsA willingness to learnAbility to make through and quick decisionsLocation expectationsThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
