Role Title: Project Manager – Enterprise Program & Delivery Management

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and drive strategic technology and infrastructure initiatives for our telecommunications client. This individual will manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation and be accountable for achieving agreed-upon scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.

This role goes beyond traditional project coordination. The ideal candidate will operate as a Project Owner—someone who takes full accountability for project success, proactively identifies and resolves issues, and relentlessly drives initiatives forward. We are looking for an individual who cannot let problems remain unresolved and who is willing to take ownership, make decisions, build alignment, and lead teams through challenges.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and leadership while ensuring effective communication, risk management, change management, and delivery execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
• Establish and maintain effective communication plans with project teams, engineering resources, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to project resources and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor project performance, KPIs, milestones, deliverables, and program health metrics.
• Lead project meetings, stakeholder reviews, steering committee discussions, and executive presentations.
• Coordinate vendor activities, contractual deliverables, and third-party engagements as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• PMP Certification and/or 10+ years of equivalent Project Management experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Proven experience managing projects from project definition through implementation and operational transition.
• Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, governance, and execution management.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive issues to resolution.
• Highly proactive personality with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering teams.
• Experience with project governance, risk management, issue management, and change management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, and judgment capabilities.
• Experience developing executive-level reporting, project dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Project including project scheduling, resource management, critical path analysis, and budget tracking.
• Background in networking technologies including switching, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting data center infrastructure environments.
• Experience working with network engineering, infrastructure, or telecommunications organizations.
• Exposure to network automation initiatives leveraging AI and intelligent automation technologies .
• Experience managing infrastructure modernization, network transformation, or enterprise technology programs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 annually in our lowest geographic market up to $120,000 annually in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
