Associate Creative Director

Lemonlight is looking for an exceptional Associate Creative Director to help define the creative standard for one of the fastest-growing production companies in the country. This is not a traditional producer role. We're looking for a creative leader—someone with exceptional taste, strategic thinking, and the ability to develop ideas that solve real business problems. You'll partner directly with enterprise clients, lead high-level creative conversations, mentor creative talent, and oversee premium commercial productions from concept through delivery. What You'll DoCreative Strategy & Concept Development Lead creative discovery sessions with enterprise clients to uncover business objectives and develop strategic creative solutions. Develop original campaign concepts, commercial ideas, branded content, and video strategies across a variety of industries. Write scripts, creative briefs, visual treatments, and presentation decks that inspire confidence and win work. Present creative concepts to executive stakeholders and clients with clarity and conviction. Collaborate with Sales and Account teams during pre-sale to develop winning creative approaches. Creative Leadership Raise the creative standard across every project. Provide creative direction and feedback to Creative Producers, Directors, Editors, Designers, and Motion Artists throughout development and production. Mentor and coach creative team members while helping establish best practices across the department. Help shape Lemonlight's creative voice, internal creative processes, and portfolio of work. Identify opportunities to push ideas beyond expectations while balancing client goals, budget, and production realities. Production Oversight Oversee creative execution from concept through final delivery. Partner with production teams to ensure creative vision is maintained throughout every phase of production. Creative direct productions on set when needed. Review edits, graphics, scripts, and deliverables to ensure work meets Lemonlight's quality standards. Balance multiple productions while maintaining exceptional creative quality. Client Partnership Become a trusted creative advisor to enterprise clients and marketing teams. Build long-term client relationships through thoughtful communication, transparency, and consistently outstanding work. Confidently navigate feedback while protecting the integrity of the creative. Help clients make better creative decisions by combining storytelling with marketing strategy. About You 7+ years of experience as a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, Senior Creative Producer, or similar creative leadership role. Exceptional portfolio demonstrating commercial, branded content, or advertising work for nationally recognized brands. Strong background in concept development, scriptwriting, and creative presentations. Experience leading enterprise-level clients and executive stakeholders. Experience collaborating with marketing teams and agencies. Excellent visual taste and a strong understanding of cinematography, editing, motion graphics, design, and commercial storytelling. Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable giving clear, constructive creative feedback that elevates the work. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Proficient with Google Workspace, Google Slides, and project management platforms such as Monday.com. Positive, collaborative, and driven by a desire to create industry-leading work. Bonus Qualifications Experience leading integrated commercial campaigns. Experience directing commercials or branded content. Experience developing AI-assisted creative workflows. Experience mentoring creative teams and building creative processes. Motion design, copywriting, or agency experience is a plus. Compensation The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience.
