Welding PositionPosition Summary: Performs all position welding on an assortment of structures and weldments in accordance with code requirement, alignments and dimensional specifications. Requires a broad knowledge of welding technology in addition to extensive welding experience, fulfills ASME section IX welding qualifications. Required to speak and communicate clearly with others. Corrected vision to 20/20 or adequate and ability to identify and distinguish colors.Mental demands: While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is required to read, write, analyze data and reports, exercise judgment, develop plans, procedures and goals, present information to others and work under pressure.Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is also exposed to high level of manufacturing and equipment noise. Duties are performed indoors in a manufacturing environment with temperature changes. Exposure to hazardous materials, fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts with vibration.RequirementsQualifications:Education and Training:Technical Trades School in WeldingHigh school GED RequiredExperience:1+ years of welding experience.Other:Must be willing to work overtime as required.Minimal travel may be requiredWork Authorization: Must be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
