Summary

You will serve as an Inteligence Specialist at the GG-14 grade level responislbe for organizing and managing a joint team of Sailors, civilians and contractors to support the Cyber National Mission Force.

Duties

Help

• You will evaluate and integrate all-source intelligence and open source information into top-level assessments.
• You will apply extensive knowledge of advanced research methodologies and analytical techniques and/or collection management systems to complex work assignment.
• You will prepare and produce initiative reports and briefs for executive level audience, that demonstrates extensive knowledge and comprehensive analytical expertise.
• You will identify and/or provide resolution of intelligence gaps.
• You will serve as Deputy for Plans and Exercises and provide continuity within the department.

• You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
• This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
• This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 322 level 02 within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as:

1) Gathering Intelligence and Information Operations requirements from planning conferences and communicate them to departments for further planning and tasking;

2) Translating exercise development and planning down to designated personnel for completion;

3) Evaluating and integrating all-source intelligence and open source information into top-level assessments;

4) Planning and executing exercises and wargames for the intended use of designated personnel.
