RN - Supervisor

House SupervisorThis position involves oversight of bed control and operational needs. Ensure proper staffing. Respond to codes and rapid response teams. Represent administration and direct facility operations. Supervise personnel in all departments when leadership staff is not present. Serve as an administrative liaison to all departments, agencies, and physicians. Provide functional guidance to all units. Act as a resource for decision-making concerning patient care services and staffing. Ensure hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied. Preferred skills include administration of chemotherapy, circulating, conscious sedation, ICP monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage, and vent management. Support is available from physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Daily census is approximately 100 patients with a bed capacity of 448. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Most weekends will require coverage.
