Position Overview

Pay range: $16.75 - $27.25 / hour

Job Description

To process paper documents into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or physical chart as appropriate. To ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documents entered into the patient record. To adhere to all policies and procedures governing the handling of medical records.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in a Health Care related field or five (5) years of experience in an HIM department or related field required. Must be able to identify clinical documents and possess knowledge of medical terminology. Two (2) years of experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred. Bachelor's degree in a Health Care related field preferred.
