Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for an outpatient clinic setting requiring BLS certification and 2 years of experience, with first-time travelers welcome.

Job Details

• Work in a high-volume outpatient clinic setting,
• Assist with injection procedures, placing imaging orders, and minor procedure room support,
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
• Cerner charting system preferred but not required,
• Rotating shifts, holiday, and inclement weather coverage may be required,
• On-call availability required,
• Weekend work required,

Job Requirements

• Active MO or Compact LPN/LVN license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable,
• BLS certification required,
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (1.5 years may be considered),
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs,
• Ability to work in a healthcare facility open 24/7, 365 days a year,
• Ability to work assigned shift, weekends, and at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract,

Additional Information

• Orthopedic experience preferred but not required,
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role,
• Routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses,
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible for this position,
• Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be considered at a local rate,
• Maximum RTO of 10 days permitted, with none available during the first week due to orientation requirements
