Eligible for certification and/or licensure per state regulations. Is a registered assistant or is eligible for registration in the state of Colorado. Ability to understand medical terminology and how it applies to Therapy in order to communicate with residents, staff and physicians, and to prepare meaningful reports. What You’ll Be Responsible For The

COTA

will provide quality ongoing therapy to all patients within the facility per physician’s orders. Communicate on an ongoing basis with therapist, residents and staff, the progress of such designed programs; assists the therapist with resident/patient related activities and direct resident/patient care and keeps department records as per facility policy. Performs therapy treatment and related duties delegated by the therapist. Provides Therapy to the residents upon written order of the residents’ attending physician and specifically: Communicates a report on the residents’ progress to the therapist and attending physician. Consults with the therapist and the physician regarding residents’ change of condition as indicated during the course of treatment. About Us
