The LPN contributes to the smooth operation of the practice by attending to clinical tasks and patient care. The LPN works collaboratively with all other staff to assist the patient and facilitate a successful interaction within the practice team. This position reflects and carries forward the mission and goals of the practice both internally and throughout the community.RequirementsEducation/Certification/Licensure:Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of New YorkCurrent basic life support certificationExperience/Skills/Proficiencies:Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiologyFamiliarity with health care systems, regulations, policies, and functionsUnderstanding of documentation standardsKnowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials needed for medical treatmentWorks well in a team setting and demonstrates strong cooperation skillsSkill in reading and following written and oral medical ordersSkill in initiating appropriate emergency proceduresSkill in handling a number of tasks simultaneouslyExperience in a physician office, preferredPay range: $18.50-$32.00 DOE
