NOW HIRING! $24.00 per hour Flexibility with shifts is required Applicants must be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, day, evenings, overnights, and holidays if needed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields and must have active CA State training and Guard Card licensing. Skills & Abilities Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures. Strong communication and report writing skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods. Comfortable using security systems, radios, and incident reporting tools. Excellent computer, grammar, and punctuation skills. Conflict de‑escalation and customer service skills. Work Schedule Must be flexible and available for all shifts: days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Adapt to different post orders, access control systems, and security protocols. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. (varies by site). Capable of extended standing, walking, or patrolling. Maintain alertness and situational awareness at all times. Typical Responsibilities Maintain site access control and visitor logs. Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage visitor check‑ins. Maintain a professional presence while enforcing corporate security policies. Conduct patrols and safety checks. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents. Write detailed incident and daily activity reports. Support workplace safety initiatives and report potential hazards. Follow all company, client, and regulatory guidelines. Provide customer service and ensure client satisfaction. Serve as a first point of contact for inquiries, directions, and assistance. Qualifications At least 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid State BSIS California Guard Card. Strong customer service skills. Familiarity with report writing. Computer skills are a must. Good verbal and written communication skills. Monitoring and surveillance experience. Essential computer competencies. Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks. Comfortable with outdoor environments in diverse weather conditions. Security guard experience preferred, not required.
