Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a spectrum of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, ensuring clear communication and compassionate care
• Work closely with radiologists and referring medical professionals to produce superior diagnostic images
• Maintain imaging equipment efficiently, reporting any issues swiftly
• Diligently document all procedures and update patient records in our electronic health system
• Stay updated on the latest developments in ultrasound imaging practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field is required
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is necessary
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
