Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team of imaging specialists committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You'll utilize cutting-edge ultrasound equipment to perform essential diagnostic exams, collaborating with a team of clinicians who provide support and insight, assuring patients are guided with the utmost professionalism and care.
Description of Responsibilities

Conduct various ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part evaluations
Prioritize patient comfort throughout procedures, ensuring clear and compassionate communication
Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Oversee the operation and upkeep of imaging machinery, ensuring any technical issues are reported immediately
Log procedures accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with the electronic medical system
Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices
Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required
Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
Skills Needed
Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
