Job Full Description

Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout apartment units and common areas
Respond to resident maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner
Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, sinks, drains, and water leaks
Complete basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, light fixtures, and other electrical components
Repair and replace doors, locks, cabinets, drywall, flooring, and other apartment fixtures
Perform painting, patching, caulking, and other general repairs as needed
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify necessary repairs
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents through repairs, cleaning, painting, and general upkeep
Perform preventative maintenance on property equipment and building systems
Maintain grounds and common areas as needed
Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks
Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance requests and repairs
Follow safety procedures while completing maintenance work
Communicate with residents and property management regarding maintenance issues and completed repairs
Participate in a bi-weekly on-call rotation
