Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to join our team for a 3x12-hour day shift. The successful candidate will work primarily on Sundays through Tuesdays from 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM. After midnight, the CT Tech will work independently in a dynamic environment, focusing on emergency department patients and inpatients with no scheduled outpatients during the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans for emergency department patients and inpatients.
• Work independently after midnight, ensuring patient safety and care.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques, including 3D rendering and contrast media preparation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient diagnoses and care needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Washington State Radiological Technologist Certification.
• ARRT Certification is required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system preferred.
• Experience with trauma levels I and II is a plus.

Skills

• 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering.
• Experience in CT scans of the abdomen, thorax, pelvis, and head, both with and without contrast.
• Knowledge in isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• Familiarity with PACS and starting peripheral IVs.

Unit Details

The facility serves a diverse patient age group including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 240 patients. The facility comprises 349 beds and provides a range of supportive services including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.

Work Schedule

The position offers a consistent schedule working 12-hour shifts, with an emphasis on flexibility and patient-centered care. Requests for time off are welcomed, with a maximum of 5 days allowed per assignment.
