Business Analyst

Business AnalystJPC Partners is looking for a Business Analyst that will focus on process documentation and business analysis support of various initiatives. This individual will interact with the business users, gather and document existing processes, as well as to document application dependencies and potentially provide recommendations. Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, requirements elicitation, documenting requirements, creating process flow and written documentation and assisting in User Acceptance Testing efforts. The role will include working with the team, stakeholders, and customers to ensure that the process documentation is correct and detailed.Responsibilities:Develop a deep understanding of the business functions and processesDocument, review and update business process requirements based on team members' and client's feedbackServe as a business liaison between clients and project teams to help understand user interactionEstablish, monitor and maintain high client satisfaction levelsDocument and track problems in client business systems or processes to provide recommendations for future efficienciesAssist project manager maintaining project schedule and coordination of teamwork towards project milestonesStrong communication skills in working with a team and providing in time updates to project managerAssist team in getting the current deliverable in a timely manner; Jump in and assist where needed to accomplish tasks such as testing and deploymentsAbility to develop/update/deliver training materials for end-usersRequired Skills and Experience:1-5 years of relevant experienceSomeone who is energetic and passionate about their work, extremely positive and solution drivenDetail orientedAbility to lead assigned tasks to completionExcellent requirements gathering skills and experienceListening to customers and understanding their current processes and needsAbility to work independently, with minimum supervisionExperience working on cross-functional teams, on projects in a matrixed environmentExperience working with business and technical staff to define, document, and track software requirements and designMost recent roles should show increasing responsibility as BA in agile environmentFamiliarity with Agile methodologySkilled at documentation best practices such as using revision history/version controlExperience using JIRA and ConfluenceB.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
