Job Title: Senior Program Manager Specialist – Multifamily Digital.
Location: McLean, VA (On-site).
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099).

About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Program Manager Specialist to support the program manager function for a major financial services organization focused on mortgage and housing finance.

You will work with business stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable work while owning all executive and program-level reporting for the team. The role requires understanding and communicating team activities from a strategic perspective, distilling complex work streams into clear priorities and deliverables, with a focus on Multifamily Digital programs.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with Multifamily Digital Program leadership, including providing direct strategic and operational support to senior executives.
• Lead strategic transformation initiatives and coordinate planning activities across multiple programs, business functions, and technology teams.
• Facilitate business requirements sessions with stakeholders, documenting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable user stories, features, and development priorities for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business SMEs, Architects, and Development teams to ensure business needs are clearly understood and successfully implemented.
• Support Agile planning processes, including Program Increment (PI) planning, roadmap development, backlog refinement, dependency management, and milestone tracking.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy, portfolio priorities, and enterprise transformation objectives.
• Create executive-level dashboards, status reports, presentations, and communications that provide leadership visibility into program health, risks, milestones, and outcomes.
• Apply PMO best practices for program governance, reporting, resource planning, risk management, issue tracking, and portfolio oversight.
• Lead integrated program planning activities and support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience supporting program manager functions, program management, or related roles in a large enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and translate their needs into actionable work, user stories, and development priorities.
• Experience owning executive and program-level reporting, including dashboards, status reports, and leadership communications.
• Ability to understand and communicate team activities from a strategic perspective and distill complex work streams into clear priorities and deliverables.
• Experience supporting Agile teams and planning processes such as PI planning, roadmap development, and dependency management.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in McLean, VA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with SharePoint and understanding Multifamily (MF) data.
• Background in mortgage, housing finance, or related financial services programs.
• Hands-on application of PMO best practices for governance, risk management, and portfolio oversight.
• Prior support for strategic transformation initiatives across business and technology teams.
