Role Description This full-time, on-site MCA (Merchant Cash Advance) Sales Representative role is based in Miami, FL. The MCA Sales Representative will prospect and qualify established small and medium-sized businesses, conduct needs-based consultations, and present appropriate funding solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound calls, following up on leads, preparing and submitting applications, and guiding clients through the funding process from initial inquiry to closing. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, collaborating with underwriting and operations teams, and meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets. Representatives are expected to uphold Shield Funding’s standards of professionalism, ensure a high-quality client experience, and contribute to a culture of performance and integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development abilities, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing skills.
• Knowledge of merchant cash advances, small business financing, or broader financial services products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and consult with business owners.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with proficiency in CRM tools and basic computer applications.
• Demonstrated resilience, self-motivation, and a goal-oriented mindset in a performance-driven environment.
• Prior experience in inside sales, telesales, or financial services sales is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL and maintain a professional presence with clients and colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or related fields is a plus.
