Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Surgical Assistant position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing surgical assistance in the operating room setting, supporting various surgical procedures including neuro, ENT, orthopedic, and general surgeries. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience. The schedule includes day and evening shifts with variable start times.

• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) from the following certifying bodies: National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA), or National Certification Corporation for the Surgical Assistants (NCCSA); Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical assisting; knowledge of various surgical procedures including neuro, ENT, orthopedic, and general; experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system: EPIC; ability to work variable shift start times between 05:30-07:00.
• Additional Information: Free parking is available, with a shuttle provided for staff to/from the parking structure. Food options include Starbucks and a cafeteria on campus. Candidates should be prepared for a 1-1.5 week orientation (subject to change). The position may involve working holidays with an option to work four 10-hour shifts or take the holiday unpaid.
