Job Description

The Critical Care Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing patient care for individuals in the ICU. The unit features 18 private rooms equipped for COVID-19 patients, with an average daily census of 13. RNs will maintain a high level of clinical expertise and provide care for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment and clinical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications, including titration of vasoactive drips.
• Provide care and management for patients on CRRT, IABP, and ventilators.
• Perform care and removal of central lines and other invasive devices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including intensivists and respiratory therapists.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care RN experience is required.
• Must possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with CRRT, IABP, and ventilator management is highly preferred.
