We encourage innovation from our associates, employ the latest technology and have aggressive expansion plans. This position will support our facility in St. Charles, Illinois. Salary Range: $80,000 To $90,000/year Responsibilities & Duties Maintenance technicians are responsible for performing highly diversified duties which include, but are not limited to, equipment installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production and facility assets. 3-5 years in trouble shooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level. An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls, and power transmission systems. Able to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives PLC and Electronic troubleshooting. Experienced with electrical test equipment. Familiar with pumps, both air and electric. Able to install and trouble shoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits. Knowledge of the various types of sensors and switches A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings. Working knowledge of power transmission equipment and bearings. Familiar with computers and Microsoft software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility assets. Perform equipment calibrations. Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, drawings, and parts list. Experienced with hand and power tools, shop equipment, and electrical test equipment. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic welding skills preferred but not required. Comply with all company policies, regulations, and procedures. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or management. Help maintain facilities Food Safety Standards Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. 3-5 years of “hands‑on” Industrial Maintenance experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Experienced in either the Flexible Packaging or Blown Film Industries, strongly preferred. Able to work on ladders, lifts, and at heights. Available to work “on call” and on weekends when needed. Experienced with CMMS software preferred. Knowledgeable with OSHA regulations. Basic computer skills. Salary for this position is based on, among other things, a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
