Breast Imaging Radiology Opening in Altoona, PA Located 98 miles from PittsburghPosition Details:

• Full-time or Part-time
• Group employed
• Seeking a Radiologist to join our world class health system. Candidate can be a general radiologist interested in 50% breast imaging or a fellowship trained breast imager. We have both full time and part time positions. Must have an MD or
equivalent, be BC or BE in Radiology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. MSQUA certified.
• Call 1:3 or 1:4
• Join a group of 17 Radiologists including, 8 Neuroradiology/MSK/Body Imaging, 2 Mammographers (each part time), 4 Interventional Radiologists, 2 Nuclear Medicine/PET Radiologists, Physician
extenders and several nurses
• Option for an academic appointment if desired
• Located in the City of Altoona, central Pennsylvania, has excellent school systems, abundant and diverse cultural amenities, and outstanding recreational and outdoor and sports activities

About the Health System:400-bed regional health care system providing care to residents of a six-county service area in central Pennsylvania. Medical center is a level II trauma center, regional oncology center, and a JCAHO-certified stroke center. Medical center provides comprehensive cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, vascular and endovascular surgery, behavioral health and a vascular and wound care center.
