Role Description The legal assistant will provide day-to-day support to attorneys in a full-time, on-site role located in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities include preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, filings, and correspondence, as well as organizing case files, maintaining calendars, and tracking deadlines. The role involves coordinating with courts, clients, and opposing counsel, managing incoming and outgoing communications, and assisting with scheduling and logistics for hearings, depositions, and meetings. The legal assistant will also handle general administrative tasks such as data entry, file management (physical and electronic), and document retrieval to ensure efficient case preparation and firm operations. Qualifications Strong foundation in law-related work, including familiarity with litigation processes and terminology, and experience supporting attorneys and paralegals. Demonstrated ability in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, e-filing, and organizing pleadings, discovery, and correspondence. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
