Sales & Marketing Support Specialist

Today, our products can be found in National Retail accounts, Food Service, Wholesale Clubs, Convenience Stores and School Lunch Programs. Partner with the Sales team to develop, update, and prepare effective customer and account presentations, sales materials, and other customer-facing resources. Coordinate product samples for customer presentations, sales meetings, and new business opportunities, including organizing, preparing, packing, and shipping samples via FedEx and other carriers; maintain appropriate tracking and follow-up. Support customer-specific requests and sales initiatives and ensuring materials, samples, product information, and other deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Assist with customer portals by maintaining and updating product, company, and required information to ensure accuracy and timely submission. Assist with broker and retail team training by coordinating materials, product information, samples, and presentations. Support broker- and market-targeted sales initiatives, including participation in specific market sales blitzes as needed. Coordinate and support planned customer promotional programs in partnership with the Sales and Marketing teams. Collaborate with Marketing to support new product introductions, customer presentations, product launches, and sales initiatives. Maintain company social media channels, including scheduling and publishing approved content and ensuring channels remain current and consistent with company branding. Maintain and update company website content, including products, company information, news, imagery, and other approved updates. Assist with preparation and coordination for trade shows, customer meetings, sales presentations, and other company events; travel to food shows and customer events as needed. Maintain accurate product, customer, presentation, and sales support materials to ensure the Sales team has access to current information. Manage 1WorldSync/Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and other internal departments. Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Sales team, including presentations, reports, meeting preparation, customer communications, and coordination of sales-related activities. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and other departments to support customer opportunities and ensure sales initiatives move forward efficiently. Perform other sales and marketing support duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/ABILITY REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar field Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create professional, customer-facing materials and presentations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and requests simultaneously. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when handling customer materials, product information, samples, and presentations. Experience maintaining social media platforms and working with website content or content management systems preferred. Ability to work effectively across departments and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and other internal teams. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to identify needs, follow through on assignments, and work independently with limited supervision. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset when supporting internal teams, brokers, customers, and other business partners. Ability to organize, prepare, pack, and coordinate shipment of product samples and sales materials as needed.
