Sales Support Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Salesforce & Sales Support Manager Department: Customer Service / Sales Support Location: New Jersey Headquarters Reports To: Sales Controller Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt POSITION OVERVIEW The Salesforce & Sales Support Manager is the primary Salesforce subject-matter expert and centralized sales support resource for the U.S. Sales organization. The role supports Regional Sales Managers, DSD Managers, and Sales leadership by maintaining accurate sales data, developing useful reporting, resolving system and account issues, and improving sales processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Salesforce Management Serve as the primary Salesforce point of contact for the U.S. Sales organization and provide day‑to‑day user support. Maintain Salesforce data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adoption. Create and maintain reports, dashboards, views, and other sales tools. Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and coordinate with internal or external technical resources when needed. Support Salesforce configuration, enhancements, testing, system changes, and new functionality. Train and onboard Sales users; develop practical guides and process documentation as needed. Sales Support & Operations Provide centralized administrative and operational support to Regional Sales Managers and DSD Managers across the U.S. Assist with customer, account, territory, product, pricing, and sales-related information. Support new customer/account setup, updates, territory changes, and account maintenance in Salesforce and related systems. Prepare sales reports, customer information, presentations, analyses, and other materials requested by Sales. Coordinate sales-related requests with Customer Service, Distribution, Finance, Marketing, IT, and other departments. Track requests through resolution and identify recurring issues or opportunities to reduce administrative work for Sales. Sales Reporting & Analytics Develop recurring and ad hoc sales reports and dashboards for Sales leadership. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, gaps, and issues. Support sales performance tracking, forecasting, pipeline reporting, budgets, targets, and incentive programs. Ensure Salesforce reporting aligns with Sales business requirements. Process Improvement & Projects Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve Salesforce and sales support processes. Establish consistent Salesforce usage and data‑entry practices across the Sales organization. Develop and maintain SOPs for Salesforce and sales support activities. Support sales initiatives, promotions, product launches, contests, territory realignments, and other special projects. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor#39;s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in Salesforce, Sales Operations, Sales Support, or a related role. Strong hands‑on Salesforce experience, including reports and dashboards. Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales data. Experience supporting a geographically dispersed sales organization preferred. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and translate business needs into practical Salesforce and sales‑support solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
