Job Summary The role involves facilitating operative or other invasive procedures by preparing and providing the required sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment. It also includes maintaining the sterile field while anticipating and responding to the needs of the surgical team. Job Requirements Engage in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continued education. Minimum Education Completion of an approved Surgical Technology Program. Minimum Work Experience No previous experience required. Required Licenses/Certifications CPR-BCLS certification. Must maintain a valid surgical technologist certification. Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities Effectively interacts with hospital personnel. Advocates for quality and cost-effective care. Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
