About the Position

Job Opportunity – Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling flexibility; minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period; shifts assigned in 4-week increments

Highlights:

• 16-bed Neuro ICU with 2:1 patient ratios (may vary to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs)
• Advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 monitoring systems
• Meditech documentation system
• Unit secretary support available during day shift; occasional nurse extern assistance
• Exposure to critical procedures including central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
• Contract duration and multiple positions available

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or eligible for compact state licensure)
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• ICU nursing experience required
• Navy blue scrubs (tops and bottoms) required
