About the Position

Job Opportunity – Critical Care Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4-week scheduling period; 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period; Float to other units as needed based on census

Highlights:

• 32-bed Coronary Care Unit with 2:1 patient ratios and dedicated support staff including student nurse externs
• Advanced cardiac technology including PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Growing cardiogenic shock program with 12 dedicated beds and specialized provider teams
• Procedures include central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
• Meditech EMR system with Phillips telemetry monitors and Hill-Rom beds
• Award-winning team with active Nurse Practice Council and Daisy Award recognition

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical care experience with cardiac background required
• Experience with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred
