About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical ICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: Four-week self-scheduling increments with minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. Shifts balanced by management to ensure optimal coverage. 12-hour shifts available.

Highlights:

• 31-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit with varied patient acuity
• Patient ratios of 2:1, adjusting to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs
• Advanced critical care equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 hemodynamic monitoring
• Meditech electronic documentation system
• Unit secretary support during day shift with occasional nurse extern assistance
• Participation in advanced procedures including central line insertion, arterial line placement, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• ICU experience required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Navy scrub uniform required (tops and bottoms)
