Salary:
Diversified Construction & Design is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to join our Mechanical Division.
We offer competitive compensation, employer-sponsored health insurance, 401k with company match, Paid Time Off. Travel and out-of-town work may be required depending on client and project demands.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers, other relevant management, and clients to ensure projects are executed within budget and on time.
- Lead and support a team of workers, including managing work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.
- Promote our safety culture by enforcing safety procedures, including educating new employees on safety procedures, regulations, and expectations.
- Propose potential adjustments within operations as necessary to best meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Engage with the workforce to establish relationships that promote communication, transparency, and accountability.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal construction regulations.
- Coordinate supply deliveries with vendors as needed.
- Maintain a log for the job sites operations, reporting to management as necessary.
- Demonstrate knowledge of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and identifying signs of maintenance issues.
- Travel to and from client location as needed.
- Promote companys growth vision and long-term strategic goals.
