Information Services Librarian

Supporting the Information Services Department, the full-time Information Services Librarian will provide reference and consulting services, teach information literacy, and collaborate on digital scholarship initiatives, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week. Key responsibilities Deliver reference services and in-depth consultations to faculty, students, and clinical care providers on effective use of information resources Teach specialized classes in information literacy and evidence-based practice across various modalities Collaborate with colleagues on outreach and education initiatives related to the institutional repository and digital scholarship programs Required qualifications Master of Science in Information Science or ALA-Accredited MLS Professional library experience in a health care or health sciences setting preferred Knowledge of medical and health sciences terminology and literature databases preferred Experience with advanced literature searching techniques and systematic reviews preferred Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within the workplace and university community Virtual Vocations Inc
