Scheduling/Intake Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a combined Intake Coordinator and Scheduler (50/50 split), balancing intake workflows with clinician scheduling responsibilities.
• Coordinate with clinicians to optimize schedules, ensuring full caseloads while honoring individual scheduling preferences and availability.
• Collaborate with the Nurse and Therapy Manager on clinician schedules, coverage needs, and adjustments for clinical staffing changes.
• Proactively identify and reassign openings to maximize utilization and minimize unfilled time, communicating changes to clinicians and clients promptly.
• Collection, data entry, and distribution of intake information of potential patients
• Manages insurance eligibility confirmations of patients
• Obtains pre-authorization with various payor sources

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and a team player
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a medical office highly preferred
