Convenience Store Associate
We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking individual to join our convenience store team. This position involves a variety of day-to-day store responsibilities and requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Operate the cash register and accurately handle customer transactions
- Stock shelves, coolers, and other merchandise throughout the store
- Receive, move, and organize inventory
- Lift and carry heavier cases and products when stocking coolers and store inventory
- Assist with food preparation and maintain food service areas
- Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, floors, restrooms, and other store areas
- Keep shelves, coolers, displays, and customer areas clean, organized, and well stocked
- Monitor merchandise and notify management when items need to be restocked
- Follow company procedures for food safety, cleanliness, cash handling, and customer service
- Perform other general convenience store duties as needed
Qualifications
- Dependable and able to arrive for scheduled shifts on time
- Friendly and professional when working with customers and coworkers
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to bend, reach, stock merchandise, and regularly lift and carry heavier products and cases
- Willing to perform a variety of duties, including cashiering, stocking, food preparation, and cleaning
Previous convenience store, retail, food service, or cashier experience is helpful but not required.
