Every day you will perform a variety of patient-related care tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, oral care, and feeding. You will obtain and record vital signs, monitor daily intake and output, and collect various specimens (both non-invasive body fluids and blood). To be successful in this role, you will have completed a nursing assistant program, EMT program, or the first block of a nursing program. You must possess current BLS-CPR certification (CNA or EMT certification is required/preferred).

Every day you will perform a variety of patient-related care tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, oral care, and feeding. - Assists the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments and procedures as requested
- Retrieves necessary equipment and supplies
- Assists in patient/equipment preparation
- Performs follow-up actions as directed
- Documents clinically relevant findings in the patient's record according to hospital protocols
- Prepares patients for transportation to other departments/areas
- Completion of nursing assistant program, or EMT program, or completion of first block of nursing program
