Patient Care Tech Full Time USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Tech Full Time. Job Summary Assist surgical patients throughout their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Perform general duties as needed by the Manager of the Pre‑Op/PACU. Medical Assistant or clinical training preferred. Maintain knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories. Conduct patient interviews. Perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols. Apply patient evaluation procedures. Perform routine invasive procedures such as venipuncture and EKG. Uphold quality, safety, and infection control standards. Adapt quickly to changes, with strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management. Understand principles of aseptic technique and implement them.
