Telecom Security Lead

Overview Lead Low‑Voltage Integrated Security Technician position to support installation, integration, and commissioning of advanced security systems in data center and high‑tech environments, including semiconductor facilities. Key Responsibilities Installation & Field Execution: Lead installation of access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems, perform device installation, terminations, panel work, and system bring‑up, ensuring alignment with drawings, specifications, and site standards. Team Leadership: Act as lead technician on‑site, directing daily work of crew members, assisting with task management, labor coordination, workflow execution, providing mentorship, and ensuring quality and safety. Pre‑Task Planning & Site Coordination: Participate in pre‑task planning meetings, conduct site walks, ensure readiness of tools and materials, coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and delays. Commissioning Support: Support Level 3–4 commissioning activities, assist with system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and bring systems online alongside superintendents, engineers, and commissioning teams. Systems Integration: Install and support integration of core platforms including SeCore, Honeywell Pro‑Watch, and Lenel S2, troubleshooting system communication, device issues, and network‑related challenges. Documentation & Process Support: Assist with material tracking, daily reports, progress updates, redlines, and installation documentation following quality control processes. Required Qualifications Technical Skills: Strong hands‑on experience with access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and major platforms such as Lenel, Pro‑Watch, Bosch, or Honeywell; must work in structured, compliance‑driven construction sites. Field Experience: Experience in data centers, semiconductor or other mission‑critical environments, with ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, and execute efficiently in the field. Commissioning Exposure: Experience supporting or participating in Level 3–4 commissioning, understanding testing, validation, and system turnover processes. Additional Skills & Traits: Strong work ethic, lead‑by‑example mindset, highly organized, process‑driven, adaptable to fast‑paced environments, clear communicator with field teams and leadership. Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 10/30 certification, manufacturer certifications (Lenel S2, Genetec, Bosch, Honeywell, etc.), experience under major general contractors in large‑scale builds.
