Description Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist – Day Shift (Farmington, NY) $21–$24/hr • Full-Time • Full Benefits • Stable Day Schedule Leonard’s Express is growing, and we’re looking for a detail-driven Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to help keep our cash flow strong and our customer accounts accurate. What We Offer $21–$24/hr based on experience Full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays Weekly pay On-site gym + gym membership reimbursement A supportive, people-first culture What You’ll Do Monitor A/R aging and follow up on past-due balances Contact customers by phone, email, and portal to drive timely payment Review customer portals for invoice receipt and payment status Research and resolve short pays, overpays, and account discrepancies Apply cash receipts (ACH, EDI, checks) accurately and on time Track unapplied cash and ensure all funds are properly assigned Document all account activity and communication Work with internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes Escalate problem accounts or risks to the Supervisor Requirements What You Bring 1+ year of A/R, collections, or related experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management and follow-through Clear, professional communication skills Ability to stay organized and document thoroughly Comfortable with Microsoft Office and repetitive task workflows High school diploma or equivalent Location 6070 Collett Road, Farmington, NY 14425 Leonard’s Express is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
