Davis Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Therapist to join the Children, Youth, and Families Mental Health program as a member of the Quest youth day treatment team.This position is responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual, group, and family therapy, and monitoring client progress using evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions. The therapist collaborates with the multidisciplinary treatment team, provides crisis intervention as needed, and maintains timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.Essential Job FunctionsThe Quest Therapist will be responsible for completing these essential job functions:Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder assessments and diagnoses as appropriate.Develop individualized treatment plans consisting of mutually agreed-upon goals and objectives and update as needed.Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions to decrease symptoms and improve functioning.Maintain agency standards for productivity and documentation.Coordinate with other staff and community agencies as needed to provide effective care.Participate in weekly staff meetings and regularly scheduled supervision.Complete all required training that is assigned to this position by the defined deadlines.Maintain professional and ethical standards.Other duties as assigned.In addition to the essential job functions outlined above, the following responsibilities are assigned to your specific position.Provide treatment to youth experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.Provide crisis assessment and intervention when necessary.Ensure services support client stability, recovery, and functioning in the community.Any other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned.CompensationThis position is classified as full-time, exempt. This position is eligible for a hybrid base rate salary plus incentive model if the candidate is interested.Base RateThe base rate for fully licensed clinicians is calculated with a starting annual rate of $75,500 plus credit for years of full-licensure experience as defined below:$77,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year is the approved base rate range1% per year for each year of full licensure added to the starting base rate above$3,000 Spanish-language incentive annual stipend (paid bi-weekly) available. Must pass a Spanish assessment.The compensation for under licensed clinicians (CSW, ACMHC) is $65,000.00 per year.ScheduleThis position operates in a combination of office-based and community-based settings. Services are delivered in an outpatient clinic and other community locations as clinically indicated. This role requires flexibility in scheduling to meet program needs.Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, managing clients in acute behavioral health crisis.The schedule for this position is below:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pmThursday: 9:00 am to 7:00 pmFriday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pmRequired ExperienceThe successful candidate must be licensed as a masters-level clinician in the State of Utah. DBH's preference is to hire a fully-licensed LCSW; however, candidates with an active license in the State of Utah as a CSW, CMHC, ACMHC, or MFT will be considered. Strong preference will also be given to candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish.Experience in completing behavioral health assessments and providing clinical care to youth and their families is required.Experience and knowledge of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders is preferred.Experience working with youth across varying levels of acuity and care.DBH utilizes an electronic medical health records system, so computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.Qualifications, Skills, & AbilitiesThe selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample.
