Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical evaluations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions via the interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work in synergy with surgeons to formulate and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide support during procedures by preparing surgical suites, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical tools
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge organization, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certification & Licensure

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility to become licensed) as a Physician Assistant

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of surgical protocols and sterile procedures
• Proficient in interpreting diagnostic evaluations and engaging in complex clinical choices
• Superior communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to perform well under pressure, especially during surgical procedures
