Program Manager, Life Sciences Customer Delivery

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager, Life Sciences Customer Delivery based in United States.

This role leads the implementation and delivery of technology-enabled programs across clinical research and healthcare studies. You will coordinate customers, study teams, human data operations, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful program execution. The position combines project management, customer delivery, clinical workflows, and operational coordination in a fast-moving environment. You will help customers adopt software and data capture solutions while maintaining visibility into timelines, risks, quality, and performance. Success requires strong organization, stakeholder management, and the ability to bring structure to complex implementations. You will also contribute to scalable processes that improve delivery consistency, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities:

• Lead customer implementations from study startup through completion, managing project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, budgets, scope, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate study startup activities including customer onboarding, implementation planning, device management, site activation, testing, deployment, and launch readiness.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, blockers, and changes, proactively driving resolution and escalating issues when necessary.
• Train site personnel, coordinators, investigators, and customer stakeholders on software platforms, data capture workflows, and operational best practices.
• Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, implementation documentation, onboarding resources, and repeatable delivery playbooks.
• Lead onboarding sessions, office hours, implementation workshops, project status meetings, and customer reviews.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned customers, building trusted relationships with sponsors, study teams, and other stakeholders.
• Manage customer expectations around scope, timelines, deliverables, changes, risks, and project progress while handling escalations through resolution.
• Coordinate human data review workflows with Customer Success and operations teams, including priorities, capacity planning, throughput, turnaround times, and quality standards.
• Track study metrics, review volumes, data quality indicators, operational KPIs, and other performance measures to maintain visibility and identify risks.
• Partner with internal teams to implement mitigation plans and improve the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of human data operations.
• Coordinate hardware vendor activities, including device provisioning, inventory, shipment timing, and activation schedules.
• Work with customer CROs on site activation sequencing, integration dependencies, and data reconciliation, while tracking vendor-related risks and delays.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Clinical, Research, Human Data Operations, and Customer Success teams to translate customer requirements into actionable delivery plans.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, study records, customer communications, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation workflows, communication processes, cross-functional coordination, and overall delivery predictability.
• Build scalable onboarding, training, implementation, and operational processes that support continued growth.
• Contribute to strategic customer implementations and, when needed, support non-life-sciences programs to provide flexibility across the broader program portfolio.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project management, implementation management, clinical operations, customer delivery, or a related field.
• Experience supporting clinical trials, clinical research programs, healthcare technology implementations, or life sciences initiatives.
• Experience training customers, end users, study personnel, or other stakeholders on software platforms and workflows.
• Working understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, competing priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confidence working with customer stakeholders, clinical teams, executives, technical teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Proven ability to identify risks early, coordinate mitigation efforts, and drive projects through successful completion.
• Ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, including the ability to drive alignment without direct authority.
• Commitment to quality, accountability, customer success, and operational excellence.
• Experience in clinical research, life sciences, digital health, healthcare technology, behavioral health, or AI safety is a plus.
• Familiarity with GCP, clinical trial operations, site management, or regulated healthcare environments is a plus.
• Experience with eCOA, ePRO, digital health, patient engagement, or data collection platforms is a plus.
• Experience managing distributed reviewer, annotation, adjudication, quality assurance, or human data operations teams is a plus.
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or another relevant project management certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in startup or high-growth environments is advantageous.
