Position Supervisor, HFC Networks Position Overview Supervise Broadband Specialist IV, V, and Headend technicians. Oversee HFC network projects and ensure employees are focused on correcting plant deficiencies. Education enrichment up to $5,000 per year for qualified employees Employee wellness program Position Responsibilities Ensure the system technicians are productive in their daily activities Ensure the system technicians are repairing the HFC plant correctly Review daily reports to find area problems Resolve trouble call escalations Ensure the workforce is working in a safe and positive manner Complete reports as needed Hire, train, evaluate and supervise technical staff and oversee work schedules of technical staff All other duties as assigned or required Position Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree preferred Required – 5 years’ experience in the field with at least 2 of those years as a System Technician/Broadband Specialist IV Preferred – 7 years’ experience Strong project management and communication skills Organizational skills Must possess a strong desire to improve the network Thorough HFC plant knowledge Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required EEO Statement Mediacom Communications is committed to equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment. Salary and Compensation The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
