Auto Body Technician- Collision Repairs

Auto Body TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team at Fix Auto Houston. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. As an Auto Body Technician, you will use your knowledge of automotive repair and your attention to detail to provide exceptional service to our customers and maintain our high standards of quality.Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, commission-only position with a competitive pay range of $50,000 to $150,000 per year, paid on a weekly basis. In addition to your base pay, additional incentives may be available based on performance. As an employee at Fix Auto Houston, you will also have the potential for professional growth and development opportunities within our company.Responsibilities:Perform high-quality auto body repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and dent repairPerform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specificationsUse hand and power tools, including welding & frame equipment, to complete repairsFollow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment at all timesCommunicate with staff regarding repair plans and timelinesMaintain a clean and organized work area and participate in daily maintenance activitiesKeep up to date with industry advancements and participate in training and development programs as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 5 years of experience as an Auto Body TechnicianSolid knowledge of auto body repair techniques, tools, and equipmentStrong attention to detail and quality assurance mindsetAbility to read and interpret repair manuals and specificationsExcellent time management and organizational skillsKnowledge of OSHA and EPA standards is a plus
