Job Title: Pharmacy Technician I - Dispensing
Location: Flower Mound, TX
Duration: 3 Months (possible extension)
Shift timings:

Option 1: Sunday 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM; Monday - Thursday 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM OR
Option 2: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
Minimum six months of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs. throughout the shift and occasionally lift 30-50 lbs.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, reach, stretch, and perform physical activities for extended periods during the workday.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three months of experience in a pick/pack/ship environment.
Three months of computer experience.

Responsibilities:

Fill, pack, and sort mail-order prescription orders accurately.
Ensure medications are filled correctly and prepared for shipment.
Utilize intelligent order routing and conveyance systems.
Support inventory management, supply replenishment, and restocking activities.
Maintain accuracy and quality standards in prescription processing.
Handle incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders.
Provide assistance through the prior authorization process.
Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of approvals and denials.
Transfer clinical questions and judgment-based decisions to the pharmacist.
Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, customer focus, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
