Job Type: Full-Time - 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm
Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our growing pharmacy team. This position will support daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory management, and patient service, while maintaining compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong pharmacy workflow knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in sterile compounding is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Process prescription orders, refills, and patient information in the pharmacy management system
• Measure, count, label, package, and organize medications for dispensing
• Maintain accurate patient records, prescription logs, and medication documentation
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates
• Ensure pharmacy workflow remains organized and efficient
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state board regulations, and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers
• Support quality assurance and medication safety procedures
• Assist with pharmacy operational tasks and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and prescription workflow
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Sterile compounding experience is a plus
