Essential Journey Counseling Associate Clinical Psychotherapist Gastonia, NC·Part time Essential Journey Counseling is seeking passionate Associate Clinical Therapists (LCMHCA, LCSWA, LMFTA, LCASA) in North and South Carolina. This full‑time position offers comprehensive supervision and support towards full licensure, along with a hybrid work schedule based on client needs. Job Responsibilities Establish a positive, trusting rapport with clients. Conduct thorough intake and assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans under supervision. Provide counseling sessions (individual, couples/family, group). Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in regular supervision and staff meetings. Adhere to ethical and legal practice standards. Meet weekly and monthly productivity requirements for licensure hour accumulation. Be available to work a hybrid schedule, including in‑person sessions, based on client clinical needs and preferences. Qualifications Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field. Current licensure as an LCMHCA, LCSWA, LMFTA, or LCASA in North Carolina or South Carolina. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Location & Hours Location: 101 F Waxhaw Professional Park, Waxhaw, NC 28173 & Remote (North Carolina & South Carolina Residents). Full‑time employee.
