Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced certified surgical technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Strong experience in trauma
• Neuro experience is required
• General experience is required
• Vascular experience is required
• ENT experience is required
• Ortho spine experience is required
• Gyn experience is required
• Urology experience is required
• Robotics experience for both General and Neuro is required
• At least 2 years of experience required for first-time travelers

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 0630-1830
• Shift days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• 36 hours per week
• Orientation includes 2 weeks on day shift and buddy call while on orientation
• Weekend rotation includes on call
• Call is required for every service line except Open Heart, one day a week from 3p-7a, and one weekend a month from Friday 3p to Monday 7a
• Expected to work a holiday per contract
